PUMPKIN BREAD

I love experimenting with different recipes & I like how this pumpkin bread turned out.

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups flour ( I used 3 cups whole wheat flour & 1/2 cups all purpose flour)
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup of water
1/2 allspice/mixed spice
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp nutmeg
2 cups pumpkin puree/fresh pumpkin(grated)
1 cup vegetable oil

How to:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl mixing all the dry ingredients.
In a another bowl mix all the wet ingredients then add to the dry ingredients.
Fold in the pumpkin puree.
Grease your loaf tin/pan.
Bake your bread for 40-60 minutes. Check for doneness by making sure a toothpick/fork inserted comes out clean.

How to make pumpkin puree:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cut pumpkin in half & remove seeds and pulp.
Cover each half in foil.
Bake foil side up for 1 hour or until tender.
Scrape pumpkin meat & blend or mash with a fork.

BLAZER DRESS

When my sister gave me this blazer dress I couldn't even button it, but I kept cause I loved the buttons.I tried it out the other day & it fit like a glove,yaaay to home workouts.I syled my dress with animal print pumps for some colour & also cause of the gold the buttons. I like that I can also wear this dress as a loose coat with probably a cami & skinnies. Ok lets address this wireless remote control lol. I usually take self portraits with a remote & I was a bit distracted by daughter,peep first photo, so I forgot to hide it & editing it out would make my hand look wierd.

STYLING A MEN'S SHIRT

I shy away from wearing a buttoned down shirt because the 'Poppage' that happens all the time, so this time I decided to wear a men's shirt cause its a bit boxy than a woman's shirt. I styled my shirt with a full skirt(diy) & blocked heels.

DIY...WRAP AROUND NECKLACE

Today I'll be sharing a quick & easy necklace you can make with a string & a few embellishments.

You'll need
String/Shoe Lace/Cotton Cord
Scissors
Beads

Measure your string according to how long you want your necklace to be.
Cut the string & wrap it around your neck adding your embellishments.
Tie a knot at the ends.

DIY...LACE UP T-SHIRT

I love everything & anything lace up at the moment especially now that the sun is out. I made this diy using an oversized men's t-shirt.

You'll need

Measuring tape
T-shirt
Ruler
Needle
 Thread
Scissors
Marker/Chalk

1.Measure how to deep you want your v-neck  to be.
2.Draw on both sides of the main line at 45 degrees.
3.Cut on the marked area, don't cut the collar.
4. Cut 2 inches from the hem of your t-shirt, this is for the loops & also will be used as string to lace up.
5.Sew the loops & string the lace.

 

OFF THE SHOULDER TOP X FLAT MULES

I love that the sun is out so that I can show off the shoulders.  I styled my off the shoulder top with jeggings & flat mules. My current obsession right now is mules. I love when comfy shoes trend.

HOMEMADE CASHEW COCONUT BUTTER

Perfect snack combo.
I love making my own nut butters cause I get to experiment with different nuts. I used cashews but you can use any nuts...almonds,peanuts etc.

You'll need
Cashews
1-2 tablespoons coconut oil
1tablespoon honey
Pinch of salt (optional)

Put your cashews in a high speed blender or food processor. Blend for 5 minutes.
Add coconut oil,honey & salt.Then blend to the cocnsistency you want.
Store your butter in the fridge.
